Senior Design Engineer

SpecificResponsibilities:1.PrimaryresponsibilityistoactasabridgeassistingtheNorthAmericadesignerstodrivetheirvisionthroughdevelopment.2.SuccessfulcandidatewillworkcloselywithSpinMaster’sFarEastengineeringteams,modelshopsandvendors,toprovideonsitedesigninputonproductsthroughallstagesofdevelopment.(Frominitialbriefing,throughmodelmakingtoproduction)3.Designinputwillfocusonaestheticsandplaypattern.4.TravellingthroughoutChinawillberequired.RequiredSkillSet:1.ExperienceworkingwithremotedesignteamsinNorthAmericaorEurope.2.Experienceintoydesign.3.Abilitytodraw/sketchproduct,aclearvisualcommunicator.4.ClearcommunicatorinEnglish,bothwrittenandspoken.5.Solidknowledgeofproductiontechniquesincludinginjectionmoulding,cutandsewanddecorationmethods.6.Experienceprovidingcostdownsuggestions.7.Self-motivatedandabletoworkindependently,withanabilitytoprioritiseandmanagemultipleprojects.8.Goodsenseofproductdesign.RequiredQualifications&Experience:1.UniversityundergraduateinIndustrialDesignorequivalent.
2.Atleast5+yearsdesignexperience(Toyindustrypreferred).
