JobTitle:CostingDataAnalystWearelookingforaCostingDataAnalysttohelpcompanyExecutivesdiscoverwaystomaximizeproductcostreductionopportunities.Theirjobistoreviewcostingdatabasesandexternalsourcestomakeinferencesaboutpricefiguresandcompletestatisticalcalculations.TheymayalsoberesponsibleforcreatingPowerPointpresentationsandparticipatinginpublicspeakingopportunitiestohighlightcost/pricereductionopportunities.,preparinganalysisreportsforthemanagementtounderstandthedata-analysissteps,enablingthemtotakeimportantdecisionsbasedonvariousfactsandtrends.Responsibilities:• Usingtoolstoextractdatafromprimaryandsecondarysources,suchascostbreakdownsheets.• Removingcorrupteddataandfixingcodingerrorsandrelatedproblems.• Developingandmaintainingcostingdatabases,costingsystems–reorganizingcostingdatainareadableformat.• Performinganalysistoassessqualityandmeaningofcostingdata.• FilterDatabyreviewingCBDreportsandpriceperformanceindicatorstoidentifyandcorrectcodeproblems.• Usingstatisticaltoolstoidentify,analyze,andinterpretpatternsandtrendsincomplexcostdatasetsthatcouldbehelpfulforthediagnosisandprediction.• Analyzinglocal,national,andglobalpricetrendsthatimpactboththeorganizationandtheindustry• Preparingreportsforthemanagementstatingtrends,patterns,andpredictionsusingrelevantdata.• Workingwithprogrammers,engineers,andmanagementheadstoidentifycostingandpricingprocessimprovementopportunities,proposesystemmodifications.• Learningcompanyproducttobetterunderstandthebusinessandtohelpmakerecommendations.Candidaterequirements:• Bachelor'sdegreeinStatistics,Business,Psychology,Economics,and/orrelatedfieldoranycombinationofequivalenteducation,experience,andtraining.• Minimum3yearsofrelevantprofessionalexperienceindataanalytics• Abilitytoworkinmultipledataenvironmentsandperformcomplexjoins,datacleaning,andfeaturecreationusingSQLorSQL-basedlanguages(e.g.,Hive).• SignificantexperiencecodinginPython.• Demonstrableexperiencebuildingpositiveworkingrelationshipsinmulti-functionalteams,includingdemonstratedsuccessinmanagingthroughinfluence.• Trackrecordofowninghigh-impactworkfromideatodelivery.• Abilitytomanageworkandrequirementsdeliveredontimeandaccurately.• Plus:experiencecreatingdataproductsanddashboards(e.g.,inTableau).• Plus:passionforfootwearculture.
